I Could Have Danced All Night
Oh, wait - I think I did, if I remember right...
G'morning - or is it afternoon already? ~yawn~ oh dear - please excuse me! That was quite a night last night, wasn't it? Or two nights, or however long the ball was - it could have gone on for weeks, as far as I was concerned, it was so much fun!
So many talented, creative, wonderful people at the ball - I was on 'overwhelm' - even once I finally tore myself away from the ballroom, I kept seeing these images of so many fantastic gowns, lovely ladies twirling in cyberspace... Thank you, dear Eb for your gracious hospitality and awesome inspiration! What an amazing, inspiring experience...
As I was tidying up around my corner of the dance floor, I came across some things that might have been left behind - did anyone by chance lose a glass slipper? Was Cinderella really here, or did I dream that? There's a ruby slipper around here somewhere, too, I think - Dorothy are you still around here?
Or did you click your heels and go home already? Maybe it was Glynda who stopped by...it's a little hard to remember now, after all those toasts...and there were so many beautiful princesses stopping by here, they might have blended in with the crowd, for once. Thank you all so much for such a magical evening - for signing my dance card (I treasure each and every signature) - thank you for raising a toast with me, taking a twirl 'round the floor - you all made it a night I won't soon forget.*
Hmm, what are these? Seems someone forgot their blue shoes here, too - don't think they're suede though - sapphire, maybe?
Stop by anytime to claim them - I'll just be here soaking my tired dancing feet, sipping some tea...
*Though I won't soon forget the glorious time we all had at the ball, I think I may have forgotten to remember to tell you - if you're making a memory book of the experience, you're welcome to copy the post from yesterday, and today's as well, if you feel inclined.

please come by anytime and look around...ther is a lot to see...blessings, rebecca

...on page 30 of Portobello - perfect for a feet-up read...
thank you for all the dancing - you are so LIGHT on your feet - as if we were floating and spinning simultaneously...

I can't believe while I was gone I missed such a fantastic ball! And that Cinderella had popped by! Don't forget to rest your feet that must have danced the night away xxx

Oh Tinker wasn't it just magical? I am so happy you and I spent all that time twirling and laughing together. Must admit I'm nursing my head and feet today too, naps and tea and lovely dreams about the night. Isn't it amazing that so many wonderful people could be gathered all at once....genuine, talented, remarkable people with smiles nearly as bright as the moon.
There were so many barefoot revelers - hmmm, Cinderella, Dorothy and Glynda must have kicked their shoes off at the door.
I do hope we do this again...
oh but then we can twirl and giggle in Sedona too! :)
XOXO
Love,
Lisa
