After yesterday's post, I thought it was time to get off the merry-go-round...
Let's have a moment of peace and quiet. Just in time for Mother's Day. Though it's good to have some peace and quiet, anyday...
Here - have a seat and relax a moment. Take a load off...breathe...relax... release our cares....
Rodrigo, our suave and handsome personal assistant, will be by momentarily to take our drink orders. Not only is he a qualified barrista and bartender, he's so good with the pets and children, and keeps the house looking beautiful - not to mention he's a superb chef, who speaks 12 languages...Did I mention he's also a trained masseur? I have no idea why he works for so little for us, except he's just incredibly loyal, to boot. So thankful for that. What a gem.
He'd probably appreciate a tip (or a raise - it's coming, Rodrigo - our ship will come in, some day soon...Oh look - there it is, now! I better finish this up quickly - I don't want to miss the boat...)
I have some things to attend to, but Rodrigo will be at your service, till I return. Feel free to stroll around the grounds...get a massage..take a nap.
While I'm away - if you get too bored or need a laugh, here's something completely different, for everybody and their mothers...
I'll be back in the swim of things, in a week or so, post-husband's-surgery, apres-daughter's-wedding, etc, etc...
Meanwhile, I hope you can rest, relax and enjoy yourselves.
Have a happy Mother's Day and a good week!
Hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day Tink - strange how our countries celebrate that on different days... ours is always sometime in March and was once the one day those in service were given off to visit their mother's... just once a year!
So I hope you checked whether Rodrigo is really going to hang around or whether he's going to be off to see his own mother on this one precious day in the year!

Mind you he seems to have turned into a fish now I look more closely...

Rodrigo sounds like a dream and he must be because I couldn't find him anywhere. Or maybe he was busy with some of the other guests.
I hope you had a great Mother's Day!!
