You've got to love a restaurant who celebrates their grand opening by rolling back prices 40 years! (Special prices apply only to select items - though their prices for other items are very reasonable).
This is Aunt Mary's Country Kitchen, located across the street from the San Manuel Casino tram parking, in Highland, California.
Formerly the Peppertree Restaurant, Aunt Mary's has retained most of what was really good about that restaurant, with many of the same menu items. Since the Peppertree was a particular favorite of my mother's, seeing most of the same breakfast items on the menu, pleased everyone in the family.
When my girls were younger and we would join my mom there for breakfast, they always hoped we would be seated in this upstairs dining area. I think it seemed like a hidden loft to them. 
There is patio seating also (be aware, smoking is allowed on the patio).
