Ok - In our last post on strange fruit to be seen around the Inland Empire, we were playing a guessing game as to where you might see those not-so-orange oranges around here. But no one took the bait; so here's one more clue*....
Anything look familiar yet?
Since it's almost the start of the Labor Day weekend and there are a few things I wanted to show you in time for that, we'll move on and come back to gathering this fruit later on.
*This one is a Christmas orange - that theme was probably chosen by the artist because of the wonderful lighting ceremony they hold here every Christmas, and why no one wants to take a guess on this (I have statistics - I know you're out there!), well, it beats the Dickens out of me - c'mon, while there's still room at the Inn (there's another couple of clues for you!).
It appears to be a place I have taken our children to at least once every Christmas season. The lights are beautiful; you can catch The Nutcracker in the late afternoon, and by the time you get back outside, it's dusk and they're just coming on. I'm going with the MIssion Inn!
