Spent the day in the desert kitchen, baking cookies.
If you haven't baked with anyone under the age of 10 lately, here's the latest time study: Baking 4 dozen cookies takes 4 hours. That's right; allow approximately one hour per dozen cookies when baking with the 5 - 8 year old demographic.
This is not as bad as it sounds, though. If you can just remember how important it made you feel to have your mom or grandma let you measure out the ingredients
or stir them in;
actually be allowed to use the mixer (with some help of course!)
or joy of joys - decorate them yourself!
Find your inner kindergartner and you will enjoy every minute of the experience (or at least until you find the frosting in your hair!)
Those photos are so cute!
