Here's part II of last Saturday's Favorite Thing - Paint Your Shoes - my White Shoes Diary. I'm ready to put on my dancing shoes; paint the town red (and yellow and green, and blue...); go do the hokey pokey! Here's an earworm for you (maybe if I pass it on, it'll get out of my head for awhile!):
You put your right foot in, you put your right foot out,
Put your right foot in, and you shake it all about... 
Put your left foot in, put your left foot out,
Put your left foot in, and you shake it all about...
You do the Hokey Pokey and you turn yourself around -
That's what it's all about!
Done with fabric markers; heat-sealed in the dryer for 30 minutes (although if you read my post yesterday, y'all know I probably could have just set them outside for 30 minutes and saved the energy!) Now I'm going to spray them with acrylic sealer. This is becoming addictive; I'm strung out on markers, man. You start out with some little non-toxic markers, thinking you can stop anytime you want. But next thing you know, you're going to see what else you can draw on. "Honey, hold still for a minute - let me get something on the back of your t-shirt, here..."
How fun! Those are so cheery and pretty.

Crazy about those shoes, Tinker...I have some fabric markers and have used them to paint the back of a faux velvet jacket. Was fun and it turned out good. But.....now the jacket is out of style because it is l-o-n-g hip length and everything is short. So, it hangs in the closet. Cant seem to part with it. The pic is on photobucket..the girl with the hat. Wish I could sew...I'd shorten it for fall. I'm gonna hafta paint me some shoes!
