It's late, and I'm tired right now, but here's a silly little tossed word salad I cooked up for tonight's Sunday Scribblings topic of "Decisions":
Decisions, Decisions...
Eeny meeny miney mo -
Should I stay or do I go?
Heads for yes, tails for no...
Catch a tiger by his toe -
Rock paper scissors
decide who'll win
toss the quarter,
watch it spin -
paper covers the rock
scissors cut the paper
but the scissors break
with just one knock
Turn left? Turn right?
Just make a decision -
don't take all night!
My mother told me
to pick the very best one
and you are it - NOT!
- Now I wish the other won...
No matter what spot
I'm looking from -
the grass is always greener
on the other side,
So I reserve the right
to change my mind -
whatever I decide!
For some decisions that most likely make more sense, see this week's Sunday Scribblings.
Oh - and I thought I'd come back to tell you my most recent decision - after a long hiatus, I've decided to begin posting to my other blog again, if you're interested in seeing some of what's available around the Inland Empire.
Such a fun poem! I think the "grass is always greener" idea is part of the human condition. Maybe we're genetically programmed to always seek something more. xo

VERY clever, tossed and lightly seasoned! The image a perfect blend. The cadence like just the right crunch. Leaving happy and my artistic palette satisfied. Bril!

Oh, Tinker, this post was so nostalgic for me. Reading phrases from my youth---. Creatively woven!

you know, I could never write something like that. It is just too perfect. What an imagination. But we already knew that. I'll just stand over here and be envious. =]

Better to be changing your mind often than someone who is rigid and inflexible! I wanted to tell you too I saw you comment on Laini's post about the cupcake pan and we got it at Sur La Table. Its awesome! You must get one! I think they just starting carrying it but they said they are selling very quickly! Hope you are having a wonderful, wonderful summer
