I may have used that title before, but it's been too hot to think. So I'm not. Ninety-seven yesterday (Fahrenheit - please don't ask me to convert it to Celsius right now, I'm not sure if I could anyway). Ninety-eight to one hundred, predicted for today.
That's the weather people predicting that, not me. I'm not predicting anything, other than iced tea later on, with a chance of cold showers. Or maybe a cool bath. With bubbles. And a glass of iced tea. On the side, that is - not in the bath water. That would make it look muddy. Muddy Waters - ha! even when it's hot and I'm tired, I am easily amused. I could sit and watch paint dry; watch the grass grow. Sometimes I do that. I think I may do that today. It's a good day for it. Not much else going on. Too hot to plant anymore right now, and not feeling especially creative today. Just trying to stay cool.
Too hot to cook. A good day for fruit salad, mixing apples and oranges.
Here are some photos of ours. Apples and oranges, that is...I picked them just for you. The photos, I mean - the apples are too green still. I'd pick the oranges, but not until it cools off. I think I'm just going to sit still today.
Hope the weather's nice wherever you are.
Happy Saturday~
97... you must be living right next door to me; plus i think those are the oranges out on my porch??? (it is seriously way too hot) I saw muddy waters in concert back in '75. I just aged myself again didn't I?

I love that shadow of the orange leaf on the fruit - lovely shot!
Hope you cool off a bit and can continue with your gardening.

we are in the 60s, which is unusual for this time of May when I'm usually fighting the humidity and trying not to turn on the AC until June. So I will feel sorry for you and enjoy the heck out of our unusual weather (and rain - we're getting lots of rain. Apparently our drought is officially over). Hope it cools down!

Iced Tea sounds wonderful! I want some too! Thanks for sharing this with us and take lots of cold showers. That bath sounds wonderful with some tea on the side like you said. :) Thanks for visiting my blog. Sorry I have been out of touch.

It's cooling down here again - but not from the 90's, - much, much cooler! I love the idea of orange trees growing in your garden. You just relax, and keep cool.

Very hot here, too. I didn't do much except try to stay cool!
We have tons of apples on our trees but they will most likely be food for the birds! That's always what happens.

Has it cooled off any? We finally got a nice breeze and high 70's today.
Hot weather makes me sluggish and cranky. I know you get hotter weather down there, stay cool dear Tinker. I mean that both definitions of cool- ha!
Love ya!

It's Monday...my brain was fried and I didn't make it here until now. Not enough iced tea to douse this heat...I remember when you put your bra in the freezer...maybe that'd help about now!
:-)

our weather is so topsy turvy....heat...tornadoes, we're waiting for flooding from our record breaking snow in the mountains.
But, laughing...Muddy Water...
