I recommend the salad...
Fresh local food - from field to table in a flash...
Lunchtime is much quieter now. The waitresses have clocked out and gone home. Without them, the ol' cafe just doesn't have the same ambience...the service is slower now. No set menu. The soup and salad are so plain without their special touch with all those famcy garnishes.
Though I must admit, the quiet is rather serene...Now, the only thing on my plate, is getting my write hand back up to speed. Oh, that is - right after K's birthday tomorrow and my other best friend's un-birthday is tonight (she gave up having regular birthdays, so now we just celebrate her 'un-birthdays' instead :).
Hate to eat and run - but I guess there's other stuff on the menu after all.

Happy Birthday to K! Your little cafe looks very nice and I'm sure the service was wonderful. Maybe those waitresses will return soon and you can enjoy them again.
