Oh, the things my garden teaches me...At least, when I remember to pay attention, that is...
Everyday's a little bit different,
even when it looks almost the same, as the day before...
Little changes are taking place...
New possibilities are opening up,
Unfurling, little by little...
Even if we can't see the difference, see any changes. Even though we may not notice - still, the movement, onward, outward, upward is there.
Till one day, we wake up, open our eyes -
and realize something is different -
the changes have been going on - it's simply the difference has finally reached the point,
where we can see,
just how much everything has changed...
How much growing has been going on, while we dreamed...
If you dream of a flower, then plant your seeds. If you keep on watering, and waiting, and watching -
Possibilities can become realities.
At least, that's how a flower is born...
I think I'll call this "Birth of a Sunflower" (said, in my fanciest PBS artsy falsetto voice, that I reserve for really special occasions. I'm sure everyone is grateful I don't use it everyday).
My next WIP, will be the series, "Pumpkin's Progress." It's very deep...
;-)
Happy last days of August~
Oh Your NPR voice sound PERFECT~ delivering your garden lowdown. YOU are right. And you put it so well!
Congrats on the birth of your sunflower! May you continue to see all the magic and wonder of life in (and outside) of your garden, Tink!

Love the sunflower series
It took me a while to decide that the frog must be a model...
what sort of prince would he make if you kissed him?
