Remember the other day when I said I'd been dreaming winter dreams? Winter dreams of spring...This is how they started - with the arrival of the first seed catalogs. I think the first catalog arrived in the mailbox on the second day of the New Year. Those garden seed folks like to get an early start. The catalogs are already dog-eared from me pouring over them, trying to decide exactly what I need - with maybe just a little of those things I just want, thrown in - the ones I want just because they're cool plants I haven't grown before (like soapwort!). The most amazing things can grow from tiny little seeds...
It's pouring again here today. A good day for poring over the seed catalogs again. I made a big pot of split pea soup last night and some potato pancakes to go with it. Luckily, there's leftovers for today. I plan on spending today just about like Miss Lapin, here. With my nose in the seed catalogs, the kettle ready for tea, ignoring the dust bunnies under the furniture, with maybe a nap, for more winter dreams...
Happy weekend~

We got some rain, too but not too much. And I had to get out and run errands in it....I would have preferred to stay in, wearing my jammies but no such luck!

Your illustrations are certainly blooming and growing.I know you planted artful seeds and are tending them with care.
May all of your beautiful dreams come true.

I'd suggest... a money tree, some good dream flowers and a three course meal patch.
But that's just me.
