Patch WIP

Got a wild idea the other day and decided to see if it would work. Thought I'd show you the work in progress, while I'm slowly adding little bits and pieces...

that I'm hoping will grow into the picture I have in my mind.

(which isn't of a potholder - though I know they sort of resemble that, right at the moment).  I'll let you know, as soon as it's done growing.

(It's not a quilt, either)

Any guesses?

Hi Janet - I think we were cross-posting at the time you commented. Nope, not a ball, though it was sort of inspired by that earlier one I made for the baby. Here's a clue - it's a creature. Whether anyone else but me, will be able to tell what KIND, only time and a whole lot more stitches, will tell!

Oo, Gemma - yes that butterfly IS a creature, but no-o-o, not the one I'm currently making... though what a fun idea...o_0 ~ I might have to try that, next!

Hi Constance! Oo-o-o, another good guess that's giving me ideas - but it's not a mobile.

Hey there, SPF - a girly soccer ball and a patchwork cap are also good guesses, but not what I'm making at the moment.
