Popping In

Just popping in to wish you a hoppy - or rather, happy -- New Year...

Happy New Year! Here's a penguin that popped out, just before Christmas. There are some other softies that popped out too.  I'll show you when I get photos uploaded.

The weather has been back and forth between c-o-l-d (for us, that is. Some sort of cold white fluff, fell from the sky (rhe sky was falling?! Pieces of clouds, perchance?). Then warm (enough for most anyone. Too warm for the white stuff. It melted away).

Now it's cold, again (though not cold enough for the snowballs to fall). Which hasn't helped the other sort of colds that have been going around here, much. But day by day, we're getting better than we were...

Anyway, here's my penguin pal. 

I think he said his name is Bing....

I'm rather taken by his scarf. It gives him rather a dashing air, I think...
